They used to make em at The Bakehouse when I worked there but I never got the recipe. But a coupla years later, my uber lovely Momma found it n rushed to my house all happy n excited to give it to me. I guess I talked bout em to no end. N it’s really easy. Lydia’s kids always want em on the side of their real cakes for their birthdays 🙂 Here yall go 🙂
1 box yellow cake mix (no pudding)
1 egg
1 stick softened butter
Combine to a soft but firm dough n press into buttered pan.
I usually use a 9×13, but sometimes an 8×8 so they’re thicker n the top stays gooier.
Then beat together til very smooth
2 eggs
