Instructions:
Prepare the cauliflower:
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
Coat the cauliflower:
In a bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, lightly beat the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Creole seasoning.
Working in batches, dust the cauliflower florets with flour, dip them in the eggs, then coat them in the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture.
Fry the Cauliflower:
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to about 350°F (180°C). Fry the cauliflower florets in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3 to 4 minutes per batch.
Remove the fried cauliflower bites and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve:
Serve the Crispy Parmesan Cauliflower Bites warm, alone or with your favorite sauce, such as ranch dressing or spicy aioli.
Cooking Option:
For a healthier alternative, bake the cauliflower bites. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the breaded cauliflower florets in a single layer on a rack set over a baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
