Homemade Chocolate Liqueur (Bailey’s style)

In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent it from burning. You can also melt it in a double boiler for more control.
Once the chocolate is melted, gradually add the liquid cream, stirring well until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Add the sweetened condensed milk and continue to stir to incorporate everything well.
Adding the flavorings:
Add the vanilla extract and dissolved coffee (if using coffee).
Add the sugar and taste to adjust the amount depending on the desired sweetness.
Adding the alcohol:
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Once the preparation is lukewarm, add the whiskey or rum, stirring well so that the alcohol mixes perfectly with the rest of the ingredients.
