Preparation :
Preparation of the Leeks: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Clean and slice the leeks into rounds. Cook them in a pan with the butter until they are tender.
Seasoning: Add the minced garlic, salt, pepper and add a pinch of nutmeg to taste. Mix well.
Assembling the Gratin: In a gratin dish, place the cooked leeks. Pour the crème fraîche on top and sprinkle generously with grated parmesan.
Cooking: Bake for about 25 minutes or until the gratin is golden brown and the cheese is melted and browned.
Serving: Serve hot, accompanied by fresh bread or as an accompaniment to roast meat.
