Freezer, the trick to defrost it in less than 15 minutes: it has never been so easy

If our appliance is not equipped with the “no frost” function, it is essential to always remove the ice or  wait hours for it to defrost.  However, there is a foolproof method that eliminates waiting times for the freezer to defrost.

Cleaning  your freezer  ensures that the food inside is preserved in the best possible way, as well as preventing the freezer from malfunctioning or, worse still, from  breaking down.

To defrost the freezer in a short time, the first thing you should do is  turn off the power so that the process is safe.

Once the frozen food is safely in the refrigerator,  heat up some water in a saucepan  and once it starts to boil, place it in the freezer. Close the door and wait 15 minutes before opening the door again.

When you open the freezer, you will notice that  the excess ice has melted  . Then remove the water that has accumulated in the meantime. There may still be some bits of frost stuck to the walls, but they will come off very easily.

Also to prevent  water from dripping,  it is a good idea to place cloths on the front of the freezer before closing the door.
