Do you have ruined clothes or shoes but you can’t throw them away? Don’t worry, there are several “home” methods that you can use to make them look like new. Grease sticks, lemon, hydrogen peroxide, dish soap and stale bread are some of the items that can remove stains and signs of aging. Find out how to do it.
1. Lemon for sweat stains
If you wear certain clothes frequently, unsightly sweat stains form under your armpits. To get rid of them in a jiffy, just sprinkle them with lemon juice and water before washing them. When you get out of the car, your clothes will be as good as new.
2. A grease pencil to open a zipper
Zippers, especially new ones, tend to get stuck and resist. To avoid this, apply a grease pencil, preferably the same color as the garment.
3. Soak your leather jacket to make it softer
Newly purchased leather jackets and garments are extremely stiff, but you can soften them with a DIY trick: soak them in water overnight and let them dry.
