7- Baking soda, essential oils and boiling water
Essential oils give your kitchen sink a long-lasting fresh scent. So, we recommend adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the sink drain after cleaning it with baking soda.
- Start by pouring in about half a cup of baking soda.
- Then apply a few drops of your favorite essential oil, such as eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, and peppermint oil.
- Leave it on for an hour or overnight, if you prefer.
- Finally rinse it with boiling water.

- Next, pour in the hot vinegar and rinse with hot water.
9- Use citrus fruits
Citrus fruits are great for eliminating unpleasant odors. To get a fresh smell from your kitchen sink, all you have to do is:
- Turn on the water and place a slice of orange or lemon on the bottom of the sink.
- You should not put whole citrus fruits such as oranges or lemons because they could damage the plumbing.
