When temperatures drop, rodents seek refuge in groups in our homes in search of food and warmth. Their keen sense of smell allows them to detect all kinds of food found in our kitchens and homes. They feed on bread, flour, cereals, sweets and even animal feed. Their habitat is often made up of plastic or paper bags, which they turn into nests of about 15-20 cm in diameter, hiding behind refrigerators, under sofas, near radiators or even under beds.

Natural solutions to keep rodents away:

Chili mix: A mixture of chili pepper, mint and garlic powder sprayed in vulnerable areas can deter rodents.

Scented soap sticks: Placing soaps with the same properties as peppermint around doors, windows and other openings can act as a repellent.

Aluminum foil: Blocking holes and cracks with steel wool, concrete or aluminum foil can prevent rodents from entering.
