A quick note on a package made me rush to my backyard, where I found something alarming that could have protected my family from a frightening situation. The mysterious message from Ravi, our usual delivery person, suggested there was still a threat that I couldn’t overlook.Vacation deals for families
As a mother raising children on my own, I often use food delivery when I’m too tired to cook for my kids. Over time, Ravi went from being a familiar face to becoming a friend who would give high-fives to my children, Kai and Isla, before leaving. But on the previous Tuesday, something didn’t feel right. Ravi arrived looking very nervous. He gave me our food silently and quickly went back to his car, leaving me confused.
“What’s going on with Ravi?” Kai looked out the window and asked.
“I’m not sure, friend.” “Perhaps he’s in a hurry,” I said as I saw his car drive away down the street.
As I placed the food on the kitchen counter, still thinking about Ravi’s odd actions, I saw some writing on the back of the delivery bag. The messy writing grabbed my attention right away, and after reading the note, I completely forgot about dinner.
“Look in your garbage bin.”
