Ingredients
1 lb bowtie pasta: A fun and sturdy pasta shape that holds the sauce perfectly.
1 lb ground beef: Provides a hearty and protein-packed base for the dish.
1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce: Adds smoky sweetness and a zesty kick.
1 packet ranch seasoning: Infuses the dish with bold, tangy ranch flavor.
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese: For a melty, cheesy topping.
1/2 cup sour cream: Adds creaminess and balances the tangy flavors.
1/2 cup milk: Helps create a smooth and creamy sauce.
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or casserole dish to prevent sticking.
2. Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. Brown the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks.
Drain any excess grease and return the beef to the skillet.
4. Prepare the Sauce
Reduce the heat to medium and stir the honey BBQ sauce, ranch seasoning packet, sour cream, and milk into the cooked ground beef. Mix well until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
5. Assemble the Casserole
Transfer the pasta and beef mixture to the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
6. Bake
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Serve
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped parsley, green onions, or a drizzle of extra BBQ sauce for added flavor and presentation, if desired.
