Step 1: First, preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper. Then beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
Step 2: Then add the sugar and vanilla extract to the beaten egg whites and mix everything thoroughly. Fold the coconut flakes into the mixture.
Step 3: Place small portions of the mixture on the baking tray with enough space. Bake the coconut macaroons for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4: Let the macaroons cool and dip them in melted chocolate if desired.
