Step 1: Prepare the dough
Mix the soft butter, icing sugar, vanilla sugar and salt in a bowl until creamy. Add the egg and mix well. Gradually stir in the flour and baking powder until a smooth dough is formed.
Step 2: Piping
Fill the dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle. Pipe small rosettes or other shapes onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between them.
Step 3: Baking
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat). Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
Step 4: Decorate
Decorate your cookies as desired with sugar sprinkles or melted chocolate. Enjoy!
