Let it sit for a few hours, until the glue is absorbed into the label. Then, all you have to do is wipe it off with a sponge.
Wash the bottle thoroughly to remove any grease from the glass.
3. White vinegar
This is another application for white vinegar, among many other uses, especially in zero-waste household products!
Put a little white vinegar on a cloth and rub it to remove the label. If you’ve made your own vinegar-based cleaning solution, use it!
4. Acetone
Take a cotton ball generously soaked in nail polish remover (also known as acetone) and rub it over the areas where the glue is present.
You can also leave the cotton balls on stubborn stains before rinsing the bottle thoroughly.
5. Spray oil
WD40 oil is often used around the home for DIY purposes. Spray on a layer, let it soak in, then rub it in with a cloth.
