Rats proliferate in urban areas, peri-urban areas and agricultural areas.

We distinguish between the black rat and the brown rat and generally their weight does not exceed 500 grams and they often live in attics,

cellars or even around homes.

While mice are smaller in size,

gray or brown in color and are found in secluded and comfortable areas of the house.

Why do they find shelter in our homes?
During cold weather, rodents invade our homes in groups, looking for food and warm places to shelter.

Their keen sense of smell allows them to detect all kinds of foods that are commonly found in our homes and kitchens.

These rodents feed on foods such as bread, flour,

wheat, sweets or even pet food.

They build their shelters from paper or plastic bags by making ball-shaped nests.

15 to 20 cm in diameter and most often take refuge behind a refrigerator,

under the sofa, under the radiator or even under the bed.

How to get rid of rodents and prevent their colonization?

Some parts of our homes, hidden and comfortable, become shelters for small rodents.

Also, it is important to target their favorite places before it is too late and they colonize our

houses especially since they can have 4 to 8 litters each year.

Also, the use of chemicals to combat these rodents,

remains dangerous both for human health and

for that of our pets.

It is best to resort to alternative methods and tricks to get rid of them.

Home Inspection

So it’s a matter of inspecting the place and the best time will be at dusk when everything is calm and quiet.

such as feces or small pieces of paper.
