Why do you have to hammer nails into a lemon?

Who doesn’t love camping? It’s great fun to get out into nature with family or friends and just enjoy being together outdoors. Imagine the sun is setting and it’s time for dinner. As you’re looking for your stove, you realize you forgot it at home. Don’t panic! You can do a lot with a lemon and a few nails.
How to make this battery
To understand how this method works, you need to follow the demonstration step by step. First, take a lemon and squeeze it between your hands to release the juice, which is essential for this experiment.
Roll the lemon in your hand to soften it
Drive several copper nails into the lemon one centimeter apart.
Do the same with the zinc nail but on the opposite side
Connect the first copper wire to the second zinc nail.
Connect the second copper wire to the third nail, and so on. This will create a reaction between the copper and the zinc that will produce electricity.
