“Silverfish” are insects also known as moths or silverfish. No one at home likes to see it indoors

Their current scientific name is Lepisma saccharina and they are native to temperate regions, but are common as native insects worldwide.
Silverfish – What to do if they infest your home?
They are small and have a silvery color, which makes them easily visible. They are often considered a problem because they feed on organic materials such as paper, cloth and grains.
Female silverfish lay their eggs in sheltered places, such as cracks in walls or furniture, and once the eggs hatch, the young insects feed until they reach sexual maturity.
At this point, the male and female mate and the female lays more eggs to continue the breeding cycle . The silverfish development cycle depends on environmental conditions, but can last anywhere from two weeks to several months on average.

All of this easily suggests how intrusive they can be once they have ‘taken’ into our homes.
