Instructions: Grandma’s trick for cleaning bathroom faucets and drains

Prepare a solution with equal parts white vinegar and water (for example, 100 ml of vinegar and 100 ml of water).
Soak a cloth in the solution and wrap it around the faucet, making sure all parts are covered.
Let it sit for 15-20 minutes for the vinegar to dissolve the limescale.
After waiting, remove the cloth and gently rub it over the faucets. Use your toothbrush to clean crevices or any tougher areas.
If you want an extra touch of shine, wipe the faucet with a cloth soaked in lemon juice and let it sit for a few minutes before drying it with a dry cloth.
How to clean a bathroom drain:
Pour 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda directly down the drain.
Immediately afterward, pour a cup of white vinegar down the drain. You’ll see a fizzing reaction—that’s the baking soda melting grease and soap buildup!
Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove any residue and clean the drain completely.
If the drain smells bad, repeat the process once a week to keep everything fresh and clean.
Why does it work?
Vinegar is a natural descaler that can dissolve limescale and mineral deposits without damaging surfaces. Baking soda, on the other hand, is an excellent deodorizer and degreaser. Together, they form an unbeatable combination for bathroom cleaning and maintenance.

One last tip:
to prevent limescale deposits on your faucets, always dry them with a dry cloth after each use. This will prevent water spots from forming and keep your faucets sparkling for longer!
