King of Denmark’s Hawaiian Cheesecake

Cut the dough into nine 4-inch squares using a pizza cutter or knife. After that, carefully push the corners of each square toward the center, then fold them inward about 1 inch. This will ensure they adhere.
Spoon a dollop of cream cheese filling into the center of each puff pastry square using a small cookie scoop (1 tablespoon).
Before brushing the edges of each pastry (and all around the filling) with egg wash, whisk the egg and water in a small dish.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F and bake, rotating the dish halfway through, for 16 to 18 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before frosting.
To make the frosting, combine the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a mixing dish. To avoid a thin glaze, gently add the milk. Drizzle a little glaze over each tart.
