Putting bay leaves under your pillow before going to bed: an old custom from our grandparents!

To get the most out of bay leaves, you can use the plant in a variety of ways. In cooking, bay leaves are used  as a spice   to flavor sauces, stews, soups, and other dishes. For colds and coughs, a decoction can be prepared    by steeping bay leaves in boiling water for a few minutes,    then straining the liquid and drinking it hot.

It is important to note, however, that bay leaves can interact with certain medications and are therefore not recommended for pregnant women. Before using bay leaves as a natural remedy, you should always consult your doctor.

 

Although it may sound crazy, leaving a few bay leaves under your pillow is good for your body. Bay leaves have anti-stress properties, making you more relaxed when you fall asleep. To improve your sleep quality, place bay leaves under your pillow during the day and remove them at night. This trick can help you wake up feeling more rested in the morning.
