Prepare the avocado pit
- Remove an avocado pit after eating the fruit. Clean it thoroughly under warm water to remove all traces of pulp.
- Locate the top and bottom of the pit: the pointed side is the top, while the flat side is the bottom (this is the part that should be submerged).
- Soak the pit in a glass of water, inserting three toothpicks on the sides to keep it balanced, with the bottom part submerged in the water.
Tip: Use room temperature water and change it every 2 to 3 days to prevent mold growth.
