Prepare the Sausage:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it is browned and fully cooked. Use a spoon to break it into crumbles as it cooks.
Once cooked, drain any excess fat and set the sausage aside.
Mix Cream Cheese and Milk:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the milk, mixing until well combined and the mixture is creamy.
Combine Ingredients:
Add the beaten eggs to the cream cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and mix thoroughly.
Prepare the Hash Browns:
In a large bowl, combine the frozen shredded hash browns with the sausage and mix well.
Pour the cream cheese and egg mixture over the hash browns and sausage, stirring to coat everything evenly.
Assemble the Casserole:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or similar size dish.
Spread the hash brown mixture evenly in the prepared dish.
Add Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake the Casserole:
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the center and the top is golden and bubbly.
A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
Cool and Serve:
