1. Lemon Juice Soak
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup lemon juice
- Large basin or bucket
- Instructions:
- Fill a basin or bucket with warm water.
- Add 1 cup of lemon juice to the water.
- Submerge the white garments in the lemon juice solution.
- Let them soak for 1-2 hours or overnight.
- After soaking, wash the garments as usual with laundry detergent.
- Hang them to dry in the sunlight, as the natural bleaching properties of the sun will help whiten the fabric.
2. Baking Soda Paste
- Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- Water (as needed)
- Instructions:
- Mix baking soda with enough water to create a thick paste.
- Apply the paste directly to the stained or discolored areas on the white fabric.
- Gently scrub the paste into the fabric using a soft brush or sponge.
- Let the paste sit on the fabric for 15-30 minutes.
- Rinse the fabric thoroughly with cold water.
- Launder the garment as usual, adding an extra rinse cycle if necessary.
3. Vinegar Soak
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup distilled white vinegar
- Large basin or bucket
- Instructions:
- Fill a basin or bucket with warm water.
- Add 1 cup of distilled white vinegar to the water.
- Submerge the white garments in the vinegar solution.
- Let them soak for 1-2 hours or overnight.
- After soaking, wash the garments as usual with laundry detergent.
- Hang them to dry in the sunlight, if possible, for additional whitening power
