The cause of fibromyalgia is not yet known, but it is believed to be due to an abnormal functioning of the central nervous system, which amplifies pain signals. It is not a dangerous pathology, but a painful one. Although it does not cause damage to muscles, joints and bones, it causes great discomfort and in some cases can be really debilitating.
Eat more fruit. Citrus fruits, strawberries and cherries contain antioxidant properties that help delay cell oxidation and eliminate toxic substances from the body. In addition, it is important that the diet is rich in vitamins (A, C and E).
Eat more vegetable fats. Avoid fried foods, sausages and red meat, which are high in saturated fats. Vegetable fats, i.e. unsaturated fats, help lower cholesterol, protect the heart and provide our body with antioxidants (carotene and tocopherols). Use olive oil for dressing, eat olives, flax seeds and dried fruits.
