King of Denmark’s Hawaiian Cheesecake

For filling you will need:

▏1 17.3 oz (or 320 g) box thawed puff pastry ▏
1 egg beaten with 2 teaspoons of water to make an egg wash ▏1/2 cup (30 g) powdered sugar ▏
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice ▏1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract ▏1/2 teaspoon salt ▏1 cup powdered sugar ▗1-2 tablespoons milk
Instructions

Prepare a large baking sheet (I used a half-size baking sheet) with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C (fan oven to 160°C).
Add the egg, powdered sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt to the cream cheese in a bowl to create the cheesecake filling. A rubber spatula or whisk will do the trick.
Roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin to form a 12 x 12-inch square.
